SunBird provides us with never-ending opportunities to participate in every conceivable social activity. Specific to Canadians are the February BBQ and the March Golf Tournament.
Our Pork Loin BBQ and social is on Thursday, Feb. 2. This event costs $7 per plate, and will be held on the patio from 3 to 6 p.m. (BYOB). A live band will be the featured entertainment this year. To register, email Mike McMillan at [email protected]. Details are on our poster in the clubhouse. This is also your opportunity to sign up for the Golf Tournament in March.
The Great Canadian Golf Tournament tees off on Sunday, March 19, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Registration will take place at the BBQ. The cost is $45 per person, which includes golf and a pizza dinner in the ballroom. Non-playing dinner guests are welcome at a cost of $5. This tournament is a social scramble for Canadian golfers of all levels of experience.
