Bible Study on the Minor Prophets

Chuck Heitbrink

A new Bible study series will begin this fall focusing on the Minor Prophets, led by Dan Graves. The first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 6:30 p.m.

The study will offer participants an opportunity to explore the messages, history and continuing relevance of the Minor Prophets, a collection of Old Testament books that speak with power about faithfulness, justice, hope and God’s call to His people.

Graves will guide the group through the writings of these prophets, helping attendees better understand their background and the lessons they offer for believers pointing the reader to Christ. The series is open to those who are familiar with the Bible as well as those who would like to learn more in a welcoming setting.

Community members are invited to attend the opening session on Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Clubhouse, upstairs in the Hopi Room. Participants are encouraged to bring their Bible and a desire to study, discuss and grow together.
