Are you passionate about a subject and eager to share your knowledge? New Adventures in Learning, a nonprofit organization dedicated to lifelong learning, is looking for volunteer presenters for our upcoming classes! Whether you have in-depth expertise in a particular field or a fascinating hobby you’d love to teach others about, we’d love to hear from you.

As a volunteer presenter, you’ll have the opportunity to create and lead engaging classes for adults who are eager to learn. We offer a variety of class formats, including traditional classroom sessions, roundtable discussions, computer labs, and off-site field trips. Presenters are free to tailor their classes to their own style, whether it’s through lecture, interactive student participation, or guiding a lively discussion.

Classes are held at the Sun Lakes Center at Chandler-Gilbert Community College (25105 S. Alma School Road, Sun Lakes, AZ 85248) or virtually via Zoom for wider accessibility. Our classes are one-time or multiple 90-minute sessions with up to 20 participants. For computer classes, we provide a fully-equipped lab. Off-site field trips offer a chance for students to explore interesting places in the Greater Phoenix area.

Proposals for the Summer 2025 semester will be accepted online between March 3 and March 21. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a presenter, visit our webpage at www.cgc.edu/community/lifelong-learning/get-involved or call 480-857-5000. If you need help writing the proposal, we can provide it. Join us in making learning a lifelong adventure!
