As summer draws to an end, activities in SunBird begin, and the Art Club is welcoming back our members as we look forward to another year of sharing our love of creating art. This year, our club meets on Fridays in the Hopi Room upstairs. At the end of last season, we changed from half days on Thursdays to full days on Fridays. This expanded timeframe opened up the freedom to delve into our art, allowing us to accomplish a greater enjoyment and satisfaction as we work in an unhurried and relaxed environment. Our members are also looking forward to doing some outings, as we attend art shows and, hopefully, are able to do some art in various locations in the Valley. We invite anyone who would like to be a part of this friendly and relaxed group of individuals who enjoy coming together and learning from each other, as we celebrate this wonderful place called SunBird.
