Annual (Free) Dementia Conference Hosted by Sun Lakes United Methodist Church

Save the date of Feb. 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for Sun Lakes’ annual Dementia Conference at Sun Lakes United Methodist Church, Lindsay Hall.

This year’s conference will focus on “Learning New Ways to Approach Dementia Caregiving with a Kaleidoscope of Possibilities.” The slightest adjustment of our perspective can reveal so many new and beautiful opportunities for better care.

Let’s reduce everyone’s frustrations. Our goal this year is helping you to understand what your loved one is experiencing in their journey with dementia, from their perspective, so it helps you to be the best caregiver you can be. We’ll identify what specific things you actually can control in the caregiving process and how adjusting these variables can minimize daily challenges. You will learn the importance of your role as a caregiver and find out how very small tweaks to your approach can produce incredibly impactful and positive results. Lastly, you’ll discover how to create some very personalized joyful experiences that make life easier for everybody!

Space is limited. Register today for this free conference. RSVP to [email protected] or call 480-203-8548.

Bring your family members and friends who support you or neighbors who may not be aware of Dementia Friendly Sun Lakes and the resources available in the community to help.
