There are only 17 more days until SunBird’s annual Bridge Gala! We hope if you are a bridge player, you’ll be in the Horizon Room on February 17 at 1:30 p.m. to begin a Sunday afternoon of fun and challenge with the cards you are dealt. As in the past, the cost is $5.00 to play. Gala tickets will continue to be sold until February 10. In addition to the games, there are monetary prizes and raffles. Many lucky people go home with more money than it took to play.
After the excitement, you can socialize at dinner. The planned meals for the evening are beef stroganoff with a house salad and a vegetable. Chicken cordon bleu is accompanied with a veggie and potatoes. Three salad dressings will be available: French, oil and vinegar and bleu cheese. The crème de la crème of the menu for all is strawberry shortcake. These delicious meals are available for $16.00 per person, and that price includes beverages, tax and gratuity. If your significant other or a friend does not play bridge, they are welcome at the dinner, too. The dinner tickets can be obtained only in the Horizon Room beginning January 14 and ending February 10.
