The October meeting centered around the plans for this season’s meetings. Chris Nechvatal introduced the venue for our Christmas Luncheon. We will return to Floridino’s. The cost per person will be approximately $15, provided we have 30 or more attending. Members are asked to bring a favorite Italian recipe to the November meeting. Also, members willing may speak about their family’s Christmas traditions.
For the November meeting, we will continue with Christmas Luncheon plans as well as the sharing of recipes and Christmas traditions.
We plan on having an Italian Club Table at our SunBird Community Day program. Anyone willing to man the table for one hour shifts between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. please contact President Nechvatal.
Any SunBird residents interested in the Italian heritage are invited to join us on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Room.
