The January meeting of the Irish Club was held on Tuesday, January 6 in the Horizon Room. President Walt Kinney opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag, then welcomed our nine new members. In all, there were 67 members present.
The minutes of the December meeting were read, followed by the Treasurer’s report.
Plans for the annual trip to Laughlin were discussed. The trip will be February 17, 18 and 19. Members will stay at the Riverside Casino. The cost is $80 pp. If there are any available seats left on the bus, we welcome others to join the fun.
Our Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner will be held on March 11 and our final meeting of this season will be a Patio Party on April 7.
Our next meeting will be held on February 3 at 6:00 p.m. in the Horizon Room. New members are always welcome.
