Words cannot express my gratitude to all of the SunBird friends for the many kindnesses you extended to me upon your learning of Joe’s death on June 14. Your cards, phone calls, words of comfort and sympathy, prayers and hugs meant so much to me and will continue throughout the days that follow when I reflect on and remember the 37 years of “magic moments” and “love” shared with this dear man.
