Daniela received her Masters of Library and Information Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1980. She became interested in genealogy in the late 1980s and worked as the Genealogy Librarian at the Arizona State Library from 2000 to 2005. She became a Certified Genealogist in 2007 and a Certified Genealogical Lecturer in 2012. She taught family history research as an academic subject at ASU for five years. She has had a genealogy business, Genealogy One-on-One for the past 10 years.
Her topic will be DNA testing and its use in genealogy research.
Today’s genealogists have a new tool to help them locate the homeland of their ancestors and contact cousins and distant relatives.
