Are you dreaming of new fencing? There are many different types, styles and sizes of walls here in SunBird depending upon the unit you live in and the type of home. Who knew? The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) recently updated the ACC Guidelines (Fencing, pg. 7) which are available in the SunBird Administrative Office or online at sunbirdhoa.com.
Here’s an FYI regarding the basic fencing guidelines:
A permit ($5 fee) must be obtained through the SunBird Administrative Office before any work can begin.
Each homeowner is subject to the Deed of Restriction with respect to walls (common/party), fences and arches.
Permits must be accompanied with a plot plan, location and dimension of wall(s), construction material(s), paint color and measurements of any changes.
All design styles shall be approved by the ACC on a case-by-case basis.
