For those who have returned, welcome back! Be sure to check-in at the Sunbird Post Office and the HOA upon your return.
If you are planning to leave for the holidays, please come to the Sunbird Post Office to take care of your vacation hold.
Do not put the yellow Hold Card in your mailbox. It will be given to your carrier to do. We can hold your mail indefinitely; the first month is free. After 30 days, there will be a charge of $1 per week for our services. This policy has been in effect for many years.
For mail that has been misdelivered, please return it to our office for redelivery.
Holiday stamps will be available this month.
Be sure to check the savings by using the Priority Flat Rate boxes for those heavier items. All Priority parcels are tracked and insured for $100. Ground Advantage First Class parcels are also insured for $100.
All outgoing mail leaves our office daily, Monday through Friday, at 2:30 p.m. Mail is picked up at the blue collection box at the end of our driveway also on Saturdays.
Our office will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day; and Thursday, Nov. 26 for Thanksgiving.
