SunBird Lady 18ers gathered after their round on Aug. 25 to celebrate the 90th birthday of Saige Doughty, a resident who joined our community just one year ago after relocating from Chino Hills, Calif. Saige has enjoyed the game of golf for five decades and is the proud mother of three daughters.
Originally from the Dominican Republic, Saige’s family history is notable—her father served as Vice President of the country during the 1980s. Despite experiencing a garage fire at her home on Championship Drive, Saige demonstrated her trademark resilience by promptly replacing her damaged golf clubs.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Saige on this milestone birthday and celebrate the strength, joy, and spirit she brings to SunBird.
