Friday Fun Bingo

Join us for this awesome activity! This is not your everyday Bingo! Bring your friends, come socialize, enjoy great music, and have fun! We’ll be playing five games for only $1 per game! You can play all five games or just one, play one card or as many as you’d like, the choice is yours! Friday Fun Bingo is for SunBird members and authorized guests only. Please be sure to bring your SunBird ID for entry. If you do not have an ID, please stop by the HOA office to get one. Due to the popularity of this fun event and in order to accommodate SunBird members, the number of guests SunBird members may bring is limited to two guests per household. SunBird members, along with their guests, must all be together when entering the ballroom. Additionally, the SunBird Maintenance Team has set up the ballroom for this event. Please do not take it upon yourself to set up any additional tables and chairs. Have fun, and good luck!
Horse Races

Come cheer on your favorite horse and join us on the second and fourth Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Horizon Room for this super-fun, high-energy event! Be sure to bring $1 bills, but nothing larger than a $10 bill will be accepted. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

A night with Fame Trivia is an exciting evening full of fun questions, music, and audience participation, creating a competitive, fun-filled environment making you want to come back and play again! Free to play, new quiz each week! Music, movies, sports, pop culture, general knowledge, picture page, and so much more! Gather your friends (especially the smart ones) and come out for a fun night of Fame Trivia! No more than eight people per team, and no pre-registration is required. All brains are welcome. Art & Sip

Join us in the Horizon Room as local artist Kaui Wilson helps to create a masterful painting on canvas while sipping, laughing, and socializing. She will provide step-by-step instruction to those who need very specific direction and take you through your masterpiece from start to finish in a series of small and simple (but very detailed) steps. This will be a fun and entertaining art class. No experience is necessary! All art supplies and instruction are provided, and we’ll include one glass of wine! (Food and additional beverages are not included.) Tickets are only $38 per person and are available at the HOA office. Please register at the HOA office by Wednesday, Aug. 13.

Join us for dinner and Bingo in the Horizon Room. Due to the ballroom being closed, the Friday Fun Bingo on Aug. 22 has been temporarily moved to the Horizon Room. Seating is limited to the first 150 people, with advanced purchased tickets available at the HOA office. (You must be a SunBird member to purchase tickets. Please bring your ID. There is a limit of two guests.) Doors open at 5 p.m. for dinner, followed by Bingo at 7 p.m. Tickets are only $15 per person and include a delicious Taco Bar (soft and hard taco shells, chicken, ground beef, all the fixings; tomato, cheese, onions, salsa, sour cream, chips, cheese sauce, rice, and beans) or Limited Menu (TBD)! Bingo cards will be sold separately for only $1 per game or $5 per pack. Cash only for Bingo cards! Please note: The Horizon Room will be closing at 4 p.m. in preparation for the event.

TAD Management Presents Voyager – Tribute to Journey

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Apache Room.
Voyager is a spectacular tribute to the music of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame artist Journey. This high-energy production will take you on a musical tour of classic songs like “Faithfully,” “Open Arms,” “Who’s Crying Now?,” “Wheel in the Sky,” “Anyway You Want It,” “Don’t Stop Believin’,” and so many more. Featuring extraordinary musicians and vocalists who have toured nationally and internationally, Voyager provides today’s most entertaining and accurate Journey experience. Tickets are $20 per person and go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 3, in the Apache Room from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. After Sept. 3, tickets will be available at the HOA office.
Golf Simulator
Daily, Ballroom, “Tee Time” Schedule Available in the Ballroom
The SunBird HOA would like to announce a new activity for the hot summer days of 2025. The ballroom is air conditioned and comfortable. You will be able to hit your driver, woods, long irons, and hybrids (currently not available at our shortened driving range). You will be able to use the data driven monitor to measure your swing speed, launch angle, spin rate, ball distance, shot curvature, and any other data you would like. You can also take lessons, try new clubs from dealers, and even play as many as 31 different golf courses on the simulator, courses like Pebble Beach, Quail Hollow, Innisbrook, and Hillcrest Country Club in L.A. It’s fun for golfers and non-golfers alike. You may bring your own clubs, or we will have several sets of clubs available to try. Please register in the ballroom. Resident pricing: 30 minutes on range* $10, 60 minutes on range* $20, play a course* $25, foursome $80. *All rates are “per player.” We hope to see you on the “course”! Please note: The ballroom will be closed from Aug. 11 through Sept. 7 and will reopen on Sept. 8.
SunBird Line Dancers
Every Saturday, Ballroom, 9 a.m.
Join the SunBird Line Dancers, led by Suzanne Lipke, every Saturday in the ballroom from 9 to 10 a.m. and from 10 to 11 a.m. (Absolute Beginners, beginning in October). This is a fun, social exercise class focusing on beginner-level line dances to great country and contemporary music! The class will learn together and will have input on the dance and music choices. Everyone is welcome! There is no charge to participate in the class. If you’ve ever wanted to learn line dancing but thought you couldn’t, now is the time. Please join us!
