The SunBird Italian Club held its April meeting on the patio. This was the last meeting of the season. It was a potluck, with members bringing side dishes and desserts. The club purchased fried and roasted chicken.
President Lisa Romero outlined the planned Summer Luncheon Series. A sign-up sheet was circulated for members interested to list their names and contact info for organizers to use. The series is scheduled to begin in June. Interested members will attend a luncheon in June, July, and August at a scheduled restaurant.
Remember, we will resume monthly meetings on Thursday, Oct. 9, in the Lakeview Room at 6 p.m.
