The holidays are over, and most of us have already broken our New Year’s resolutions, so now it’s time to relax and enjoy all our community has to offer! And that includes joining the Fun Lakers! Lots of activities have been planned, so you can reconnect with neighbors and friends, or meet some new ones. Thanks to the many who have already renewed their membership, and we look forward to meeting many new members for 2025. Sign up today so you don’t miss a thing, as there is nowhere you can have more fun for only $15 all year long! There will be Dance Parties, Comedy Nights, a Golf Cart Rally, Game Nights, and special Dinners.
The Nominating Committee is looking for members who would like to volunteer to be on the Fun Lakers Board for the 2025-26 season. If you are interested or would like more information, please reach out to any of the current board members whose contact information is on the website.
Here are a few upcoming events to put on your calendar. These events will be held at the San Tan Ballroom in Cottonwood and are open to the public unless otherwise noted. A no-host bar and limited menu will be available. Head to the website for times and ticket prices.
Murder Mystery, Thursday, Feb. 13
We’ll be serving up some intrigue with sides of suspense and drama as you follow the clues to catch a killer. ‘Til Death Do Us Part will be hosted by the Murder Mystery Company, whom you may have seen on Shark Tank!
Disco Dance Night, Saturday, Feb. 22
Break out your bell-bottoms and platform shoes for some funky beats and electric vibes by DJ Jamal!
Wining, Dining, & Dancing! Thursday, March 13
There won’t be any whining, but plenty of wine sipping, while you savor a meal and dance the night away with the band Johnny K and Kompany!
Golf Cart Rally, Saturday, March 22
Whether you are in it for the competition or just to enjoy the ride, rev up the golf cart for this afternoon of fun followed by a buffet dinner!
