Fall has finally arrived in SunBird. Community Church of SunBird (CCSB) is excited for the cooler weather and our snowbird friends who join us for our non-denominational service on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. in the ballroom. We kick off this fall with a great team of pastors who rotate Sundays throughout the year. Pastors Dr. Jim Baugh, Al Fadi, Larry Freitag, and Dan Graves inspire and challenge us each week. A weekly Bible Study of the Book of Acts, led by Pastor Dan Graves, is also offered each week on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The CCSB Choir is now practicing on Thursdays from 3 to 4 p.m. Pat Miller leads the Choir and prepares them to sing on the first and third Sunday each month. CCSB also has Bell Ringers, led by Kim Hanson. They also practice on Thursdays from 4 to 5 p.m. and perform on the second and fourth Sunday each month. New members are welcome to join one or both.
Our November outreach program is Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes, in partnership with Samaritan’s Purse. Our goal is to fill 150 pre-ordered boxes for boys and girls between the ages of 2 and 14. CCSB encourages its members and anyone else in the community who would like to participate to watch the bulletin for important dates, or call Linda Ward at 530-598-2220 for more details.
Please join us for this upcoming holiday season each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. in the ballroom for a non-denominational, inspiring message from one of our gifted pastors. See you there!
