It takes a lot of helping hands to run the Lady 18ers Golf League, but one of our hardest-working members is Karen DeLong, our weekly play chairperson. Karen is responsible for setting up the fun games we play each week, setting up the foursomes, and tallying the results after each round of golf. Some of the fun events Karen has scheduled for our 2021-22 season, starting on Nov. 2, include the following: golf and lunch the first Tuesday of every month, golf with the Lady 9ers and host lunch on the patio, Match Play Tournament, Cha Cha Cha Reverse, Strike 3, Step Aside Scramble, Mutt & Jeff, Pink Lady, Irish 4 Ball, and Three Blind Mice. Karen always provides instructions on how to play the game, so you just show up ready to play golf! Karen also encourages us to decorate ourselves and our carts for the holidays, which provides a festive atmosphere to the game.
We would like to encourage anyone interested in joining the Lady 18ers League to stop by the Pro Shop and let them know you would like to join the group.
