Are you new to SunBird? Would you like to have fun and meet new friends? Golfers of all abilities are welcomed and encouraged to take advantage of the weekly 18-hole tournaments run by the Men’s Golf Club. The costs are nominal, and the experiences are priceless! We get started in November, and the season runs through April.
Three new programs are being introduced for the first time and offer fun and friendly competition to our members. “Player of the Year” is a season-long program tracking participation and performance. “Eclectic” tournaments, both gross and net, are optional games covering the entire season. The “MacPherson Challenge” is a tribute to Cal MacPherson and his contributions to the SunBird golf community and is modeled after the popular three-day USA vs. Canada match play tournament, the “Conley Cup.” Qualification for the Challenge teams comes from the Men’s Club membership and your participation and placements in regular club tournaments.
