The golf course was reopened after overseeding on October 14. Now that we are into the month of November, we see many of the snowbirds and rainbirds returning to their SunBird nests. It is great to see everyone returning, and we are looking forward to an eventful and exciting year.
For the month of November, we will continue with our 8:00 a.m. starts each morning. The shotgun starts will be Monday through Saturday mornings. Tee times will begin at noon on days with shotgun starts. Sundays will be tee times all day.
The Pro Shop hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call-in for tee times will be at 7:00 a.m. each day.
Remember, for call-ins for tee times, the following is the number of days in advance you may call: 21’ers 10 days in advance; members (owners) who have reclassified their membership to non-redeemable have nine days in advance; members (owners) have eight days in advance and residents or guests may call in seven days in advance.
Please check with the Pro Shop to see if you have any credits (chits) that were earned in 2016, as those credits will expire December 31.
Your Golf Club has three tournaments for the month of November. The Lions Club tournament is on Saturday, November 11. The CRAB tournament is on Saturday, November l8. The SunBird Open tournament is on Wednesday, November 29.
The very popular Auction that is part of the CRAB tournament will be held on Friday, November 17, at 2:00 p.m. at the clubhouse patio. The auctioneers will be Joel Sybesma and Roger Forsgren. They have many great items to auction, including a golf cart.
