A Celebration of Christmas is the theme of the SunBird Singers 2014 Christmas concert which will be presented on Wednesday and Thursday, December 10 and 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the Clubhouse Ballroom. Directors Owen and Joyce Bae will lead this 55 member chorus in a concert of Christmas favorites including Silver Bells, Sleigh Ride, Hanukkah, Oh Holy Night and Shepherds Carol. The latter two will include solos by Joyce Bae and Arlene Cooper respectively. Again this year the SunBird Singers Bell Choir, consisting of 11 bell ringers, will present several selections. Rounding out the program will be the Carol of the Bells, a two piano duet played by Trisha Russell and Lynette Martens, two of the five excellent pianists that provide the accompaniment for the SunBird Singers.
The Singers and their directors look forward to welcoming you to this 2014 concert as they start the celebration of the most wonderful time of the year. As usual, the SunBird Singers concerts are free; however, donations at the door will help defray the cost of music and are greatly and graciously appreciated.
