With the opening membership meeting in October, the Kare Bears are making plans for fundraisers that will bring a lot of joy to the community besides raising funds for their favorite charities.
Remember to attend the Kare Bears Faire on Saturday, November 1 at 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. This is the first of four fairs scheduled; three more follow the first Saturday in December, February and March. These fairs are open to the public with no admission fee; so, please invite your friends and neighbors to attend. It’s always a surprise finding what our vendors bring to the event.
Kare Bears will host a table of baked goods for sale at Community Day on November 5 in the Ballroom. There will also be a representative available if you wish to sign up for membership. Kare Bears is donating a basket for the HOA raffle.
The calendar for this year has been filled. There are a few vacancies for offices. If you are interested in assisting with publicity, we can always use your help. If you are interested in assembling a history book, ours is current and always looking for different and intriguing additions to its pages.
At our next meeting on Wednesday, November 19 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Room, our presenters will be two representatives from Chandler No. 10 Fire House. These reps no doubt have been to our community in an official manner. At this meeting, however, we will be able to ask questions about their responsibilities and what they expect from us. Every December we donate to their annual toy drive and they show us a lot of appreciation. Hope you will be in attendance.
