With January comes a new year and another opportunity to make our resolutions and serve our Lord. The year will be filled with both happy and sad events. Perhaps we will experience a wedding of a grandchild, a birth of a great-grandchild or even an unexpected source of new income.
Some of us will have a new home with our Father before 2017 is over. But how are we to cope with all the difficulties? We put our trust and faith in a loving God.
Theologian and author Max Lucado states, “When Jesus says he will keep you safe, he means it. Hell will have to get through him to get to you. Jesus is able to protect you. When he says he will get you home, he will get you home.”

A Bible study is in progress each Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the SunBird Clubhouse in the Hopi room. It is led by Hank Miller and all are welcome.
Thanks to all the participants who gave us such a wonderful Christmas Eve presentation. What an appropriate way to recognize and honor Our Lord. Also, congratulations to our church choir for the beautiful music they provide. We appreciate their efforts and talent, a blessing to us all.
