SunBird Golf Club (SBGC) welcomed Laurie Moore as the new pro shop manager effective Aug. 17.
Laurie joined SunBird from Mountain Brook Golf Course where she was the retail pro shop manager for the past three years. In that capacity, she managed day-to-day operations in three retail pro shops: Mountain Brook, Trilogy at Power Ranch, and Dove Valley Ranch.
Laurie graduated from Columbus Business University and has worked in sales and retail management since 1993. She has a proven track record in management and marketing, and she is proficient with GolfNow EZLinks. Laurie knows exceptional customer service is the driving force in building and improving our market share. She is implementing easier online reservations and payments, but she also encourages you to stop in or call if you prefer.
With a focus on affordable merchandise and updated presentation, Laurie is transforming the pro shop into a fun, enjoyable place to shop and mingle. An expanded resort-wear selection, pickleball and tennis wear, and a wider selection of SunBird accessories means the pro shop is the place for all SunBird residents to shop.
