What makes SunBird Golf Resort so inviting is the wonderful impression one gets entering the gates on Championship Drive. The lush green fairways, ponds and fountains create a luxurious setting for all residents.
Like all golf courses, SunBird Golf Club struggles financially to stay afloat. With fewer than 200 members, we depend on donations and fundraisers to maintain our golf resort amenity. HOA bylaws forbid any financial assistance to the golf operation. Most agree that this has to change, and the HOA management and Board must assist if we are to maintain our resort setting.
The annual Auction on November 16, 2018, is one way our community can contribute. It is only through the generosity of our community members donating goods and/or services and participating in this major fundraiser of the year that the golf course can operate at the standard our residents deserve. Please join us at 2:00 p.m. on our patio.
