In June, July and August, 2015-16, and June 2017, the “Meet and Greet” luncheon program was founded by Rose Pachura, President, for an organization to show interest to ladies in the community to give them something to do during the summer when the snowbirds leave. I felt this would be a good time for them to meet new and former friends. We shared birthday cakes, along with birthday cards for the person who has a birthday for that month for the luncheon.
A New “Chit and Chat Group”
There is another program that is being started for the ladies in their community they live in, and this is called the Ladies Community Chit and Chat Group Breakfast Meeting at 9:00 a.m. We will meet on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Oakwood Country Club in the restaurant in the Alcove of the Stone area room for breakfast at 9:00 a.m. The Chit and Chat Group meets every month. This would be a good time to learn what resources are out in your community if needed.
