The SunBird Niners play every Tuesday at 8 a.m. If you would like to join the group, call Bev Wilson. Once you have joined, Betty Teal will set you up with a buddy for the first three weeks, to get you acquainted with the other golfers and learn the golf course rules. It is a very fun and friendly group of women.
We have had a rough start this season with the advent of COVID-19; however, we were lucky that our golf course never closed, except for overseeding. We want to thank the SunBird Golf Club Committee for providing guidelines that allowed us to continue playing through the crisis, and to everyone who followed those rules. We encourage everyone to continue their vigilance. We are excited to start a new year of making new friends on the golf course.
