Ladies Community Chit and Chat Breakfast Group news

Rose Pachura

The Ladies Community Chit and Chat breakfast group will be meeting on the second Wednesday of each month, with the next meeting scheduled for Nov. 13, at the Cottonwood Country Club in the Saguaro Room. Come early to network and register at 10 a.m. to meet new and former friends or stay after the meeting for more camaraderie. The hot buffet will be served at 10:30 a.m. The price will be $11 per person and will include coffee, tea, and tip.

The agenda starts promptly at 10:45 a.m. and will feature one of our own, Dorothy Eberle, who will speak on “Teaching Respect for Our American Flag.” Dorothy has been a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), American Legion, and the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Auxiliary for more than 50 years—where she served as chaplain for the past five years.

When the American flag has been presented to the widow or family members at the funeral or is folded and presented to the family member, this will give you meaning to this wonderful ceremony by the speaker Dorothy Eberle. Come and hear about the beautiful ceremony for our American flag. You will enjoy and learn from this. Included in this presentation will be Dr. Michael A. Herion and Dr. Mathew Hammond, who are veterans and opened their own new office as ophthalmologists.

Reservations are required, and attendees will have to pay for their own breakfast.
Come and brainstorm with us for a fun morning and help us celebrate. Start thinking about a subject for discussion needed in your personal and community life. All women are invited to attend. We want to learn about you and you to learn about us.

Meet and greet: So, let’s talk! Share your ideas and talents with new friends and former friends. Talk about memories, accomplishments, family, or a loss. Find solutions to everyday problems, frustrations, and maybe even conquer updates on computer and technology usage. You also can find answers to trusts, health issues, everyday difficulties, investment knowledge, and home safety.

Bring your friends, neighbors, and relatives to this relaxing, fun-filled morning and go home being inspired, uplifted and looking forward to coming back for another meeting.

The deadline for reservations is Friday, Nov. 8. All are welcome. For reservations and information, contact Rose at 480-802-0775.
