What to do…
If I need help and I see a volunteer? Please feel free to ask a volunteer for help in SunBird’s library. They are familiar with the layout and use the library extensively themselves. Our volunteers love to help others, so just ask.
If I have something to donate? Our team of volunteers is available on “workdays,” usually any Friday between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. If a volunteer is not around, please take your donations to the HOA office for safekeeping.
If I am having trouble finding a certain book? Remember, our books are filed by author. Perhaps finding another book by that author will help you find what you want. If it is a fairly new book, we may not have received it as a donation.
With cookbooks, textbooks, etc.? Since we have limited shelf space, these books should be donated to your favorite charity, i.e., Goodwill, Savers, etc.
With books or puzzles in poor shape? Tape puzzle boxes closed and remove covers from books, then put them in your recycle bin. They may be recycled as paper goods.
