The annual CRAB Tournament and Auction, one of the largest and most important fundraisers in support of the SunBird Golf Club, has been postponed. This postponement is due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions that may still be in play in November. Preparations and collection of goods to be bid on at the auction should have started in September in order to be ready by mid-November, so the tournament committee has decided to postpone because of the uncertainty of hosting a large crowd of participants at the regularly scheduled time.
The new dates for this event are Friday, March 5, 2021, for the auction, followed by the tournament on Saturday, March 6, 2021. So, mark your calendars for this important event, and remember, your donations of items to be bid on are key to the continued success of this event. More communications will be forthcoming as we approach 2021.
