Carey Holzman will be the featured speaker at the Computer Booters’ general meeting on November 4.

Our general meeting will be on November 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Sun Lakes Country Club in the Navajo Room.

Carey Holzman returns to dazzle and enlighten you about the Windows programs. The Windows programs are the mainstay of Microsoft. These programs, for example, XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. have caused us to smile and frown. At times, as Windows 8.1 users can report, Windows software has added a few more gray hairs. On this election day, vote and attend our general meeting where we will also be introducing our club officers. Carey, one of our regular experts, will present an informative talk about Windows programs.

Many of our classes are free to our members. Some classes are taught by a hired professional. These classes have a charge, a book and last several weeks. Other classes are taught by our member facilitators and are free to the membership. Our class offerings include Windows 7, Windows 8.1, tablets and cell phones. We also offer other classes of interest to the public. All classes are held in the Arts and Crafts Room in Sun Lakes Country Club.

Our membership focus is classes for adults living in Sun Lakes and surrounding communities.

Membership registration can cover one person at $36 and a second person (couple) in the same household at $48. This covers the nine general meetings featuring computer presentations and assistance, plus a number of classes.

Contact Guy Laroche at [email protected] to join the club or for membership info on our website visit Computerbooters.org (membership is required to attend the classes).
