Ahhh, the temps have come down from sizzling to perfect, and in this month of thankfulness, we members of the SunBird Art Club continue to reflect on our good fortune to have such a wonderful opportunity to be a part of this group. The sharing of new techniques and art forms with each other brings the chance to grow our skills and confidence while making new friendships. This season promises to provide teaching from members and outside instructors, as well as the opportunity to showcase individual artist’s works in our case in the clubhouse lobby. Be sure to check the case often, as the art continues to rotate. Also, plans are in the works for another successful show and sale this spring. More details will be forthcoming as we get closer to the date.
We wish you all a happy Thanksgiving, and we look forward to adding new members, so come up and see us—it may be you! We meet on Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon in the Hopi Room.
