The Sun Lakes P.E.O.’s (Philanthropic Educational Organization) Chapter DW will host this year’s luncheon on Saturday, Dec. 14, in the ballroom of the Oakwood Country Club in Sun Lakes. The theme for the annual P.E.O. Christmas luncheon will be “A Star Shines Bright,” and all unaffiliates and visiting P.E.O.’s are warmly encouraged to attend.
The event will begin at 11 a.m. with a social time and shopping, followed by registration at 11:30 a.m., and then the luncheon will be served at noon, followed by entertainment with David and Ellen Rokusek.
Reservations are necessary, and the cost is $25 per person. Guests are welcome—you do not need to be a P.E.O. To reserve your spot, send a check for $25 made payable to “P.E.O. Chapter DW” by Dec. 4, to LaVerne Walters at 9044 East Coopers Hawk Drive, Sun Lakes, AZ 85248.
P.E.O.’s mission is to celebrate the advancement of women and to educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans, and stewardship of Cottey College, as well as motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations.
