The Community Church of SunBird

Bob Neuman

“I have learned how to be content (satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or disquieted) in whatever state I am.” Philippians 4:11

“Stability is security. To Grow in God is to come to the place where you can be content no matter what your situation or circumstances may be because you are rooted and grounded not in things but in the Lord.

“God wants to bless you and use you as a vessel through which his Holy Spirit can work…. Perhaps you must learn to handle both the good and the bad. It is important to remember ‘This too shall pass.’ The good times and the bad ones never last forever, but through Christ we can handle either with joy and stability.” Max Lucado

Through the years, we have been aware and shared the sorrow when a church member passes away. A spouse has lost wife or husband. The remaining spouse is well aware and pleased the deceased is happy in Heaven, but the loss leads to grief, sorrow and loneliness that remains at times until they meet in Heaven.

The Bible urges to seek out and care for those in need. Remember to pray and help those who are now alone. Only those whose own spouse has passed know the depth of the lasting sorrow a death can bring.

The SunBird Community Church is made up of believers gathered together to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through preaching, teaching, music, fellowship and service. We invite you to visit us any Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the SunBird Ballroom. There you will meet friendly folks and be treated to an excellent non-denominational service. We will be overjoyed to have you attend… and so will your Lord.
