As I prepare to leave SunBird, I have so many mixed feelings.
I will never forget SunBird, the people I’ve met, the many great friends I’ve made and worked with and, yes, the people I’ve cried with – tears of sadness and great tears of joy.
The love and joy of this community is unforgettable – the love of Lord and the great joy of SunBird Community Church. The Kare Bears and the work they do helping “home” and community. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this wonderful group. Keep up the good work. Yes, also ALL of SunBird who support the work of the SunBird Kare Bears.

The family of Andrew Zuehlke would like to express our gratitude to all our SunBird neighbors, shuffleboard members and friends who have sent cards, emailed or phoned us during Andy’s illness and since his passing on March 1, 2017. We want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Andy truly was thankful for all his wonderful neighbors and shuffleboard competitors and many other friends from SunBird and surrounding community. He loved the SunBird community and enjoyed many winters there. It is comforting to know we are loved. Thank you all.
