On Dec. 7, the SunBird Lions Club is sponsoring a golf tournament to benefit Childhood Cancer Research and Treatment. It will be a four-person scramble. The entry fee is $45 per person and includes coffee and donuts at check-in, free gift, lunch, and a chance to win numerous prizes. There will be a $10,000 prize for all holes-in-one on hole 3. There are hole-in-one prizes on all par three holes (except 11). There will also be closest-to-the-pin prizes on all par three holes and longest-putt prizes for men and women. There will be cash prizes for gross and net winners in each flight. Check-in will be at 7 a.m. on the patio with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
