The SunBird Men’s Golf Association, a/k/a the Men’s Club will hold its first meeting of the 2017-2018 season on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, in the east end of the clubhouse ballroom. Incoming Club President Loren Carrel will call the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. In addition to the regular business agenda which will include plans and discussion regarding the upcoming weekly tournaments, fees for the coming year and other items of interest for the season, there will be the usual fresh coffee and donuts. Subsequent business meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at the same time and place, through April.

The SunBird Men’s Golf Association is open to all golfers, regardless of skill level, who would like to participate in organized and regularly-scheduled tournaments held each Thursday morning. Tournaments include stroke play, scrambles and other games at the discretion of the tournament committee. While weekly play is encouraged, it is not mandatory. Players may sign up and play when they can. Participation is a great way to play some competitive golf at your level and to meet other golfers.

Membership in the association includes membership in the Arizona Golf Association and in the GHIN handicap system. For questions about membership, please contact Fred Garmeson, membership chairman, at 480-695-9363, or you are invited to attend the above business meeting.
