The SunBird Lady Niners are having a great year. We currently have 75 members, 14 of whom are new members. New members are always welcome. The Lady Niners league is a good way to meet many women in SunBird, enjoy golf and make new friends. We play every Tuesday morning, November through April.
The league is looking forward to two upcoming golf events: 1) On February 28, we are hosting the annual Home and Home golf event with the Sun Lakes Lady Niners. This is an opportunity to meet our Sun Lakes neighbors. Next year, it will be held at Sun Lakes. 2) Our Gals and Pals event is on March 28. The Niners each invite a “Pal” to join them for golf. Both events are always lots of fun. Of course, good food follows the golf!
On March 21, 2017, a representative from AWGA is coming to SunBird for a golf rules seminar. This is open to the Lady Niners and is limited to 25 participants. This is a great opportunity to learn and/or clarify rules of the game. Thank you to Karen Kummerfeldt for arranging this event.
