SunBird Community Church news

Bob Neuman

“Worry makes you forget who is in charge.” And when the focus is on yourself, you worry. With time, your agenda becomes more important than God’s. You are more concerned with presenting self than pleasing God. And you may even find yourself doubting God’s judgment.

Lord, we don’t ask that you take from us the worries of this life, but that you surface the worries of this life so we can share them with you and turn them over to you.” Max Lucado

You, Lord, give true peace to those who depend on you because they trust you. So, trust the Lord always because he is our Rock forever. Isaiah 26:3-4

We welcome back many of our winter friends. We hope your summer was wonderful and you are now ready to enjoy the sunshine but also the warmth of our Lord as we gather in church to honor and praise Him.

November is Thanksgiving and a time we thank God for all our blessings, just as we should every day of our life.

Hank Miller will again be leading a Bible study. The study will be Ephesians in the Hopi Room each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.

Ministers for November:

November 1 – Arnold Downey

November 8 – Marv Jacobe

November 15 – Ryan Stephens

November 22 – David Walker

November 29 – Jim Baugh

SunBird Community Church is nondenominational and based on the Bible. Our members invite you to visit us any Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the SunBird Ballroom. There you will meet our friendly congregation and hear an uplifting message by an experienced minister. Should we save a place? Our Lord anxiously awaits your presence.
