SunBird Community Church

Bob Neuman

The majority of SunBird residents either know or are discovering the old quip, “Old age ain’t for sissies.”

We all do need to meet illness, loneliness or perhaps financial difficulties, but should we be afraid?

Writer Max Lucado asks us, “Could you use some courage? Are you backing down more than you are standing up? Jesus scattered the butterflies out of the stomachs of his nervous disciples.

“Earthly fears are no fears at all. Answer the big question of eternity, and the little questions of life fall into perspective.”

Prayer Chain: Call Julie Hartog at 480-895-2622 or email [email protected] or call Jamie Morgan at 480-802-7358 or email [email protected].

Hank Miller is leading a Bible study in the Hopi Room each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.

Our church choir practices Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. in the ballroom. If you like to sing, come join us.

The SunBird Community Church is made up of believers gathered together to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through preaching, teaching, music, fellowship and service. We invite you to visit us any Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the SunBird Ballroom. There you will meet friendly folks and be treated to an excellent non-denominational service. All are welcome.
