Sun Lakes Mens Group sends invitation to SunBird men

The Sun Lakes Men’s Group is inviting SunBird men to join them on October 20 at 8:30 a.m. for a continental breakfast and a speaker. It will be held in the Sun Lakes Chapel Center, next to the church in Sun Lakes Country Club; the address is 9240 E. Sun Lakes Blvd. The group meets monthly, the main purpose being fellowship.

Speaking will be the renowned Lou Amorosi, who has many degrees from numerous universities such as New Jersey Institute of Technology for his BS in Mechanical Imagineering, MIT for nuclear power study, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in many states.

His responsibilities have included engineering and design of fluid systems, mechanical components, piping systems, and building facilities. With family he moved to Arizona to work for Salt River project as a manager for Generation Engineering. He is also SRP’s representative on the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station.

His volunteer work consists of budget director for non-profit groups, Cub Scouts, Franklin Music Association in Massachusetts, and chairman of a golf course.
