Join us on Monday, September 14 at 7:00 p.m. in the Navajo Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club, 25601 Sun Lakes Boulevard.
Our speaker will be Jennifer Pawlik, a resident of Chandler, a mother of two daughters and a school teacher for 17 years, nine of them in the Chandler Unified School District 80. She presently teaches sixth grade. She is also a Precinct Committee Person and secretary of the LD 17 Democrats and publishes the LD 17 newsletter.
She is a graduate of EMERGE (leadership training for women), a very active member of the school community and of the school district’s Bond Committee. She will speak to us about the bond issue of the school district.
At all club meetings, non-perishable food items are collected for the Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank. Collections take place in the west parking lot from 6:30-7:00 p.m. There is also a collection box at the north entrance of the Sun Lakes Sunset Grill lobby. Thanks to your generosity, the total collected during 2014 was 1,880 lbs. of food and $170. Through July of 2015 we have collected 1,432 lbs. of food and $300. Thank you, Sun Lakes Democrats!
