Hola! Que pasa? Want to have more fun when you go shopping in Nogales? Be able to chat with your server the next time you go out for Mexican food? Then join one of the conversational Spanish classes being offered at SunBird this fall. As one of instructor Jeanne Capeloto’s students exclaimed, “It’s painless.”
The beginning class will be on Wednesdays from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in the Hopi Room starting November 8.
The intermediate class will be on Mondays from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in the Hopi Room beginning November 13.
Tuition for the six-week class is $40. A textbook is required. The classes will be ongoing until late spring. The classes always enjoy a fun-filled luncheon at a good Mexican restaurant. We always have a great time!
There will be a sign-up sheet on the wall in the room next to the library. Whether you have had any Spanish classes before or not, it doesn’t matter.
