Hola amigos! Que pasa?
Want to be able to chat with the server while eating in a Mexican restaurant? Or to be able to say, “Oh, es muy caro!” (Oh, it is very expensive)! If the answer to either of the above is yes, then join the Conversational Spanish class being offered at SunBird. As one of the instructor Jeanne Capeloto’s students exclaimed, “It’s painless.” Besides, no tests, no grades, just fun!
The beginning class will be offered on Monday afternoons from 1:00-3:00 p.m. beginning on Monday, November 3. A textbook is required. The fee for each six-week session is only $40. There is always a Spanish class outing. Members of the class get together and go out for a Mexican meal (or Chinese if they prefer – just kidding)! We laugh a lot and have a great time.
A sign-up sheet will be posted on the bulletin board in the Puzzle Room. The class is open to anyone, not just SunBird residents.
