Free On-Site Therapy Provided by Sozo Physical Therapy

Every Friday, noon-1:00 p.m. Sozo Physical Therapy will again teach and provide guidance with your discomfort or education surrounding equipment usage. Health coaching is provided to help you address and improve your health care needs. There is a sign-up sheet in the fitness room, and they will be here every Friday from noon to 1:00 p.m.

Fish, Chips and Shrimp OR Chicken Tenders

Thursday, March 2, in the SunBird Ballroom, $10 pp, Earl and Elaine would like to invite you to come enjoy some of the great songs of the past. Farmers Market

Monday, March 13, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. The farmers market is held on the second Monday of each month during the season. There will be fresh produce, fresh breads, olive oils, cakes, pies cookies, dried fruit, jams, jellies, honey, butters relishes, condiments, pastas and a knife sharpener.

Third Wednesday Coffee Meeting

Wednesday, March 15, 10:00 a.m. in the SunBird Ballroom. Join Layne and Wanda for an informational meeting. Bring your questions and concerns and hopefully receive some answers. Dino Goegan from Edward Jones will furnish coffee and donuts again this season.

Going Green Shredding Day

Golf Tour

Friday, March 17, 4:00 p.m. If you would like to take a guided tour of the golf facility, the tours are on the third Friday of the month at 4:00 p.m. at the driving range. Check with the Pro Shop for more information and to sign up if you need a golf cart.

FREE Mazatzal Casino Trip

Tuesday, March 21. Sign up at the HOA office to take the bus to Payson. We must have 40 riders on the bus for this to go. Bus will leave the clubhouse at 8:30 a.m.

March 22, 24 and 25. All SunBird residents come out and cheer for your favorite team. Don’t miss the 8th Hole Madness.

Missouri Opry – Back to the Fifties Show

Thursday, March 23, $15 pp. Enjoy the fabulous Rock ‘n’ Roll music of the ‘50s in a flashy and fun revue presented by Jerry Prunty and the Missouri Opry. This performance will take you back to enjoy the Rock ‘n’ Roll music you grew up with! The concert promises to be a wonderful evening of music and entertainment. Tickets on sale now at the HOA office.

FREE Documentary Film – The Bootlegger

Tuesday, March 28, 7:00 p.m. in the SunBird Ballroom. The Bootlegger is the story of Henry “Kelly” Wagle, a hometown gangster turned folk hero in the town of Colchester, Illinois. A nonfiction feature film by Ryan Geoffrey Walker, based on the 1998 award-winning book by John E. Hallwas. Join David Riggall for this documentary and learn his connection to the Bootlegger. Donations gladly accepted after the film to show our appreciation to the filmmaker Ryan Walker.
