A recent update to our Roadrunner Memorial Bench adjacent to the #11 tee box reminds us of those Roadrunners who have passed. It’s just one of the Roadrunner contributions to the SunBird Golf Course. Another contribution is the steps up to the #12 tee box, and the retaining wall at the red tee area on #17 are well identified. Somewhat less noted are the carved eagle on the east side of the #16 fairway and the carving behind the mound at the #17 hole.
Roadrunners are committed to golfing and working with the golf course management to give all of the golfers a great golfing experience here at SunBird. It could also be noted that other benches located around the golf course were the result of an earlier team project headed by the late Bob Cordray, a former Roadrunner.
