Holiday stamps are available at the SunBird Post Office. Cards and letters to Africa, Central and South America should be mailed by December 1. Cards and letters to Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Canada, Caribbean, Mexico, Europe and the Middle East should be mailed by December 8.
USPS requires a return address on all letters and parcels. The parcel is to be addressed on the long side with return in the upper left and the addressee in the center/right of the largest surface area. All parcels need to be sealed with shipping tape. Do not use string, masking or duct tape. Check out the savings in postage by using the Flat Rate boxes for those heavier items. Flat Rate envelopes are also available.
All Priority Mail parcels are traced and insured for $50. If you need additional insurance tell the clerk at the window. All outgoing mail from this Post Office and the blue postal box located in the parking lot leaves at 2:15 p.m.
The SunBird Post Office is open from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We will be closed Thursday and Friday, December 25 and 26.
