Monday, October 9, at 1:00 p.m. – Adult Craft: Halloween Wine Bottles

Come chat, craft and get creative! This month, we are painting empty wine bottles to use as fun Halloween decorations. Registration begins on September 11. All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own empty wine bottle (label removed) if you’d prefer. Ages 18 and over. Limit 20 people.

Tuesday, October 10, at 10:00 a.m. – Computer Basics: Email

Learn the basics of using electronic mail (email). This program is for beginners, but keyboard and mouse skills are recommended. Registration is required and starts September 12.

Friday, October 13, at 1:00 p.m. – Beekeeping Basics*

Bees are a vital part of our ecosystem. But what makes these fascinating creatures tick? Come to the library to find out! Also, learn the basics of beekeeping, from starting to maintaining your own beehive.

Monday, October 16, at 1:00 p.m. – Music of the Gilbert Town Fiddlers*

Come and enjoy the musical performance of the Gilbert Town Fiddlers. Founded in August 2012, the Gilbert Town Fiddlers are a group of high school students from around Gilbert, Arizona, who love to perform for audiences of all ages!

Tuesday, October 17, at 1:00 p.m. – Coffee Connoisseur

Love the nuances of coffee? Press Coffee Roasters will take you around the world with a sampling of four distinctly different coffees. This program is a hands-on experience of smelling, tasting and learning! Limited to 25 attendees, registration required and begins on September 27.

Friday, October 20, at 1:00 p.m. – Cut the Cord*

Are you looking to eliminate the need for cable TV and save money without losing shows you love? We’ll demonstrate several options for you, including Apple TV and the Roku streaming stick.

Thursday, October 26, at 10:00 a.m. – Computer Basics: Getting Started

Learn the basic skills of getting on a computer and using the mouse. This program is for beginners; no experience necessary. Registration is required and starts on October 5. Limit 10 people.

Saturday, October 28, at 10:00 a.m. – Storytime Saturday – Halloween Special!

Join us for a very special Halloween-themed storytime! We will have haunted fun with books, songs, action-rhymes, flannelboards, crafts and candy. Activities are developmentally appropriate for ages 3-6, but all ages are welcomed. Be ready to sing, learn and discover! No registration required.

Monday, October 30, at 1:00 p.m. – Unwind at Adult Coloring Time

Adult coloring is sweeping the country! If you haven’t heard, adult coloring helps promote our general wellness. Feel free to bring a snack, socialize and relax! Although you are welcome to bring your own colored pencils or markers, all supplies are provided. Program limited to 40 attendees.

*Seating will begin 15 minutes before the program starts. Limit 100 attendees.
