The Board of Directors met Monday, January 4 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ballroom for their annual organizational and election of officers meeting. The following were elected as officers for 2016: Gordon Lee – President, Delores Brown-Knoeppel – Vice President, Don Calvert – Treasurer and Nancy Eckstein – Secretary.
Committee liaison appointments were made as follows: Pat McGonegle – Architectural Control, Don Calvert – Finance, Jean Pritchard – Going Green, Dee Brown-Knoeppel – Project Review and Long Range Planning and Nancy Eckstein – Rules Compliance.
The Golf Committee for meeting with representatives of the Golf Club throughout the year will be Gordon Lee, Jean Pritchard and Dee Brown-Knoeppel-Brown.
Board meetings will continue to be the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the Ballroom for agenda planning and the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Ballroom for business meetings. Meetings will be recessed during the summer months unless necessary.
With no further business the meeting was adjourned at 1:40 p.m.
February Board of Director meetings: Agenda Planning meeting is Monday, February 8 at 1:00 p.m. and Business Meeting is Monday, February 22 at 6:00 p.m. All meetings are scheduled to meet in the Ballroom. General annual Membership Meeting is Monday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ballroom.
The SunBird Golf Resort Homeowners Association annual General Membership Meeting is Monday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ballroom. The purpose of this meeting is to report to the membership regarding the business and operations of 2015.
