Summer is almost over, and the fall tennis season will soon begin. We’re ready for all our club members to return for the season! It has been hot these past three months, but some of our men players have been sticking it out and playing Tuesday and Friday mornings. Go Guys!
Our first tennis club meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 4:30 p.m. in the Lakeview Room. This will be a special meeting to organize our first tournament in October. If you will be back in SunBird in time to attend, be there or be talked about! We are all looking forward to playing on the fabulous new courts (1 and 2) and the sporty, new blue paint colors on all four courts.
As usual, residents must sign up for available courts on the court reservation sheets in the tennis bulletin board. Because summer play does not fall under the umbrella of the Tennis Club, you will be playing as SunBird residents. Please exercise common courtesy when sharing our community sport courts.
